    Hey guys!

    Mike Hyde here.

I recently finished my ID-10 Droid, and so I'm starting to work on my Del Meeko.

I have already purchased and received an armor/helmet kit and all of fabric/etc. for my soft parts.

I am good when it comes to building all of the required soft parts, but it would be nice to get some ideas about and help with the armor/helmet (Tie Pilot). I'm in full-swing build-mode, working most nights on the costume, and plan to have it done before April 1st. That way I can hopefully be approved before FanX.

Also, I'm not sure how the approval process works in the 501st, but if there is a local person to chat with about approval, I need to discuss the CRLs. There are mistakes with them, and I want to make sure that a screen accurate version will get approved without too much hassle.

P.S. I'm also on the detachment forum and working with/through them.

Most costumes in the 501st are approved by a local Garrison Membership Liaison, in this case Ann. A select few are Legion Membership Officer and Detachment Leaders only.

If you have concerns about CRL that would be ideal to address with the detachment that covers them and the Legion Membership Officers.

I just want to make sure that even though my costume will have discrepancies with the CRL that with the correct documentation, I can easily work through those issues.

Definitely reach out to Ann! She will be a great help. I wanna see your ID-10 droid! How long did it take to print the whole thing?

    This is Nicole, BTW :)

    Hey Nicole,

The droid 34 hours for the whole head, and then 1-2 hours per leg piece. Probably about 50ish hours. The stand took an additional 10 hours. I am planning on going to a trophy shop to get a custom name plaque made for it.

Welcome and message me anytime. Built a load of costumes for myself and others of a wide variety. I will comment and preface that I am not 100% sure but I don't think there is a specific CRL for Del Meeko in any version. I am pretty sure right now only two Inferno squad members have approved CRL's -Veriso and Hask. if it is a new costume CRL it used to be that the LMO had to approve, again not 100% but worth checking before delving to deep into it. Regardless will be a pretty cool set up and look forward to seeing it.

One of our LMO here filling in some details on what Gene has helped to share here. The Inferno costumes were divided between Jolly Roger Squadron (Veriso and Hask) and Spec Ops for Del.

The CRL is approved and has been active for about a year now. 35 people have been approved as Del in the 501st. New costumes need to have a CRL based on an amendment from a few years ago. They usually start with detachments and are reviewed and edited by the LMO team and approved for GML usage.

Del is active and approvable. I didn't work on this CRL, but if something is askew let's shore it up and improve it. :)
