I have never planned or organized this event. However, the event is at Memorial Park in Caldwell. The schoolhouse is known as the Memorial Park Classroom. The classroom is physically inside the park. If you do a quick search for the City of Caldwell you will find this information and several different phone numbers associated with both the classroom and the City of Caldwell. I am assuming either the parade organizers or the City of Caldwell and/or classroom staff might be able to assist. I hope that points someone in the right direction.

I am working with the parade POC about securing the "school house" used in past years. After talking to Jon, the person who the group worked through before to secure the building no longer works at the Mayor's office. When I hear back from the parade I will be sure to relay that information to you all.

Also attached is the Parade Flyer just for everyone's SA (situational awareness).

A little trick that has really worked for me when searching for items (like the school house) at public a park is to search for the actual park location and then review the amenities at that park. That way if I am not sure of the exact amenity name I am able to see what they have and then drill down to what I need.

The public parks are usually great to research everything from availability of public restrooms, shelters, hours, parking availability, maps, conditions, etc. Event hosts are not always aware of conditions or amenities and this saves time asking question after question that they will need to end up researching for us.

Hope you find it helpful too! :D

Thank you, the school is handled by the city/mayor's office so hopefully my contact at that office will be able to help us.

Sounds good, hopefully it can be used, it was very helpful to have it as a secure place to suit up.

Thanks for your efforts there Patrick.

The Memorial Park Classroom building has been secured, so we will have a secure please to store our totes. For those of us who haven't done the parade before, the building is located within Memorial Park itself.

One more update, I got word from the parade that the Riley's are able to use their Can-am as a support vehicle during the parade. Also if needed we (Clan Blizzard) will have our wagon for candy/water/child transport. :boba: :tb:

I’ll put this on the Garrison forum but everyone needs to be IN PLACE at 830 tomorrow. I’m not going to say when you have to get there to change but make sure you give yourself enough time to kit up and get in place.

Also, feel free to add some patriotic flare to your kits if you’d like to. Thank you all.
